We’ve had some new beers in store over the last couple of days so thought I’d gave a couple of them a go. A couple I’ve had before but are from the same company as one of the new ones.
First we have ‘HOP 13' (5%) a new lager from Guinness which is surprisingly nice and refreshing. I liken to a lightly sparkling light ale. Bottles however only are 330ml so far.
The other being the Special Reserve King Goblin (6.6%), a follow on from Gold Hobgoblin (4.5%) and Hobgoblin (5.2%).
The King Goblin is a darker ale (caramel in colour) and a pleasant drink. Maybe not a night out drink but a casual having a laugh with mates sort of drink.
